Supported by birch tripods, the sand-moulded cement bowls that form this stepped-fountain seem to float on top of a pool of autumn bush and flowers. A solar powered pump causes the flow to vary as clouds cross the sky, reinforcing the feeling of dependence on the greater world. Interconnectedness, bounty and constancy is offered by the gentle flow of water, refreshed again and again.
