The Crossing Place: Stepping Stones and Super Bridges

Cape Jourimain Bus Tour Program

1 1/2 to 3 hours duration

Interpreter with seniors groupOne of our enthusiastic interpreters will greet your group on arrival to the Centre and provide a brief introduction to Cape Jourimain. Following a rest-stop and browse through the Boutique the group heads across the short boardwalk to the Interpretation Centre. Along the way the "green technologies" used at Cape Jourimain are highlighted. Once at the Centre, we delve into the fascinating stories of Cape Jourimain's natural and human history. From the Centre and the observation tower there are spectacular views of the Confederation Bridge - the latest manifestation of Cape Jourimain as the "Crossing Place" to Prince Edward Island. After learning about the history of the bridge, your clients will have an even greater appreciation for the view from the restaurant where they will be served a delicious lunch. After lunch, our interpreter will lead the group on a beach or trail walk. In the case of inclement weather, a guided tour of the Exhibit Hall is recommended.

  • Cost: $20 (plus tax) per person including lunch.
