Mario Cyr

Mario's artistic practice involves hosting a discussion on a particular topic and while his guests chat, debate and discuss, he creates an abstract painting. For the festival, Mario invited two groups to discuss the topic of "Art and Nature" an English-speaking group provided him the context for his work on Saturday then a French-speaking group did the same on Sunday. The resulting work is a bold mixture of colours and textures that evolved over the weekend of the festival.
