Our camps are finished for the year. Check back in June, 2023 for details on next year's camps.

Join us at Cape Jourimain Nature Centre for our weekly summer camps. Open to participants ages 6-12. Limit of 25 participants per day.

Time: Fridays from 10:00AM - 4:00PM

Price: $10.00 / day. Payment must be made in advance or upon arrival. Cash only.


Pick-up and drop-off in the Cape Jourimain interpretation centre.

Please Come Prepared With The Following

  • Lunch / snacks

  • Insect repellent

  • Sunscreen

  • Brimmed hat

  • Water bottle

  • Sturdy footwear

  • Jacket or raincoat

Friday, July 22

Join us on a quest through time to unravel the history of Cape Jourimain. How does a lighthouse work? What were the iceboats? How long is the Confederation Bridge? Discover all of this, and more, on this fantastical adventure through the eras.

3. Wetlands and Waves

Friday, August 5

Join us on a deep dive into Cape Jourimain’s beaches and wetlands. Discover the secrets of the Northumberland Strait, unravel the mysteries of the saltmarshes, and learn about the many strange creatures that lurk beneath the waves and muck.

2. Wild World

Friday, July 29

Take on the role of an intrepid explorer as you set out into the natural world of Cape Jourimain. Trek through forest and old field to learn about local plants and animals on this amazing and wild journey.


4. Sustainable Me!

Friday, August 12

Take on the role of a scientist as you learn about the environment, climate change, and sustainability. Uncover the secret world of pollinators, unravel the impacts of climate change, and discover innovative strategies for living more sustainably.
